Some pictures of the work that was produced by my man, Bethesda Gagiano…
He has been building and maintaining cellphone towers since 2008, from the foundation to the rigging. I have been privileged to be by his side for most of these adventures. We see so many towns around our country which make it possible for me to have travel articles written by the Naked Barista (the name given to me by my man obviously because of how I make his coffee early mornings).
Yep, this is us working at Bundu Lodge in Witrivier.
The pic on the left was an interesting project, for six months – renovating old buildings on Bird Island – part of Addo National Park just off Algoa Bay. A helicopter had to fly in all materials. (The pic on the right.) While busy with the renovation of the buildings, B also reinforced the old jetty with gabions.
B loves a challenge.

… but wait, there is more…
… when we met in 1995, he was building houses with his Dad. I had a Property business and together we made a mean team, building many houses.
In the year 2000, B had a contract to renovate Pine Lake Marine, just outside Sedgefield. In 2003 we purchased a plot in Sedgefield and proceeded to build our Nutec home where we lived for the last 17 years.
Recently we have acquired our dream… a farm… with five other partners. We moved into the tiny farmhouse next to the Touwsriver at the end of February 2018. We are now for the most part living ‘off the grid’ and loving it.
We love travelling and are available for any project planning anywhere, B can be contacted on 0823060653 or via email, bobgag6@gmail.com…
… you’d be superblessed if you did…
(Update August 2023) – Last year B started building our log home after the completion of a certified course with the acclaimed, Roy Trembath. He started building on our mountain and we were superblessed to move into our building project in June 2023. It is still very much a building project – a work of art so to speak and we love it.
