We want to share our journey with you… leaving an awesome legacy… with the wish that my children or grandchildren would hopefully continue with the alchemy from all our struggles/challenges…
Being very sick in 2016, I realized that it is most important for me to; ‘Get into the flow and know how superblessed I am‘!
We were based in Sedgefield, Garden Route, for over 20 years, because it felt like living in Paradise. We have been considered rich and we have been considered poor. (Read my book, Bury the Past, Unlock the Future, for more insight. The details are at the bottom of this page.)
After being considered rich, and while still considered poor, we built our home piece by piece… which we used to rent out for holidays and short stays. It is rented out permanently at this point.
After our building with Nutec and B’s history as a builder, we started a business, building homes for others in Sedgefield.
We love working together and as my business background is Property, as an agent, I sold a piece of vacant land to a buyer who wanted Bethesda to build their home after which I made some more moola when he asked me to help with his interior decorating (also one of my passions).
Now there are quite a few homes in Sedgefield built by my husband.

B and my son, Juan, completed a course for building log homes with Roy Trembath.
We are currently building our dream log home on our farm, Lochloerie, and have been working on it for the past three years.
We are superblessed in that we traveled in our beautiful country a lot over the past years as Bethesda has been working on civil
construction since 2008 around our country and is very willing to do projects overseas.
This contract work suits our lifestyle perfectly as we love travelling.

More often than not, we are superblessed to do with our time what our heart desires.
This mostly means… more travelling, which is how the articles from The Naked Barista (me) are written.

We are superblessed with two amazingly, beautiful adult children.
Maryna, our daughter, blessed us with two grandchildren, grandson, Maddox, and granddaughter, Alexia…
Maryna is an online teacher.
My son, Juan is married to my beautiful daughter-in-love, Katja who is also my unofficial PA…
She is the absolute best, I would love to add. Together, they are the parents of our amazing granddaughter, Jana… and our newest grandbaby, Lian was born on the 6th of January.
I have my own product range (my website shop) named for my three amazing grandchildren: – perfumes, beard oil, face serums, baby bum cream, and ‘Lekkeslaap’ which I aptly named Superblessed. These products can be purchased online or by contacting me at 0825706304

We are superblessed as we have our children and grandchildren with us on the farm, each in their own home, but privileged to have as much quality time together as we can.
We love road trips on our motorbike…
We love dancing and visit music festivals as often as we can… even when in Turkey, we were blessed to dance with some friends at Tree of Life.
We feel superblessed to have spent the past few years organising our own ‘Community’ festivals, creating a space where our loved ones can come and dance under the stars with us.
I started dabbling with Angel Cards more than fifteen years ago and found my ‘Gift’ as I have also been offering Angel Card Readings and have quite a few awesome client beings all over the world.
I have had the honour of being called a ‘soulgrower’ and this is also my choice of an answer when asked what my occupation is.
I love being a part of some beautiful soul’s journey…

So, never a dull moment… and by sharing our life, we create transparency of life, a window into living life to the full, inclusive with and especially, embracing all its ups and downs.
In 2018, my wish to live closer to nature came true as we became shareholders of a beautiful farm, Lochloerie.
Nowadays, we are privileged to have our children and grandchildren on the farm with us. We have a stunning river cottage available for rent (on the blue link above).
